Ortaöğretim 10. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Eğitsel Dijital Oyunlarla Desteklenmiş Müzik Dersine Yönelik Tutumları

Abstract

Ortaöğretim 10. Sınıf öğrencilerinin eğitsel dijital oyunlarla desteklenmiş müzik dersine yönelik tutumlarını incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma deneme modeliyle kurgulanmış, ön test- son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Cinsiyet ve dersi gönüllü alma değişkenlerine göre öğrencilerin derse yönelik tutumlarındaki farklılıkların anlamlılığına ilişkin karşılaştırmalı analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırma 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında Tokat ili Erbaa ilçesinde, Erbaa Merkez Anadolu Lisesi'nde öğrenim gören 10A ve 10B sınıflarından toplam 40 öğrenciyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Dersler çalışma grubunda yer alan kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerle anlatım, gösterip yaptırma gibi geleneksel öğretim yöntemleriyle işlenirken, deney grubunda bu öğretim metoduna ek olarak eğitsel dijital oyunların kullanımına yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada ölçme aracı olarak Varış ve Cesur'un (2012) geliştirdiği 'Ortaöğretim Müzik Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulama süresi 8 hafta olarak belirlenmiş; kontrol ve deney grubundaki öğrencilerin eğitim sürecinin başında ve sonunda bağımsız değişkenlere göre müzik dersine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesinde frekans, ortalama, standart sapma puanları ve ortalama farkı hesaplanmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının ön test ve son testten aldıkları puanlara ilişkin karşılaştırmalarda bağımlı iki örneklem t testinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda eğitsel dijital oyunlarla desteklenen müzik öğretiminin, ortaöğretim 10. sınıf öğrencilerinin müzik dersine yönelik tutumlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. This study aims to examine the attitudes of 10th-grade high school students towards music lessons supported by educational digital games. The research was conducted using an experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group. Comparative analyses were performed to evaluate the significance of differences in students' attitudes towards the lesson based on gender and willingness to participate in the class. The study was carried out in the 2022-2023 academic year with a total of 40 students from the 10A and 10B classes at Erbaa Central Anatolian High School in Erbaa district, Tokat province. In the control group, the lessons were taught using traditional teaching methods such as lectures and demonstrations, while in the experimental group, educational digital games were integrated into these teaching methods. The measurement tool used in the research was the 'Attitude Scale Towards Secondary School Music Lessons' developed by Varış and Cesur (2012). The implementation period of the study was set to 8 weeks; frequencies, averages, standard deviation scores, and mean differences were calculated to determine the attitudes towards the music lesson of students in both control and experimental groups at the beginning and end of the educational process. Dependent two-sample t-tests were used to compare the scores obtained by the experimental and control groups from the pre-test and post-test. The results of the study indicated that music teaching supported by educational digital games positively influenced the attitudes of 10th-grade high school students towards music lessons.
