Abstract
This study examined Ozan Canyon's geomorphological features. The study area is located in the Eastern Anatolia region of Upper Euphrates. Malatya province is within the boundaries of the administrative area. It covers an area of approximately 108 km2 with Ozan Canyon surroundings. The study are based on essentially the on your field observations and analysis. It has also been utilized in the Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System. In addition, the Meteorological Station Malatya climate data has been interpreted and mapped by interpolation method. Ozan of the canyon's has been effective east-west direction in the formation creek flowing Tohma River plateau mass splitting. Canyon built a horizontal field occurred with selective erode resistance due to the difference arising from the lithological factor. Ozan Canyon has about 18 km in length, the relative difference of cleavage is approximately 700 m. Established as a stream on the Neogene cover consecant once the area of the oldest land in the upper jurassic-lower cretaceous aged limestone buried epigenetic has formed a valley.
