1818 (H.972-973 M.1564-1566) No.lu Trabzon Şeriye Sicilinin Transkripsiyonu ve Değerlendirmesi

Abstract

Transkripsiyon ve değerlendirmesini yaptığımız 1818 numaralı sicil Kanuni Dönemine ait olup 1564-1566 yılları Trabzon'unana ışık tutmaktadır. Sosyal ve iktisadi konularda zengin olan defter, şehrin kozmopolit yapısı sayesinde Osmanlı toplumunda zımmilerin durumunu anlamlandıra bileceğimiz içeriği de sahiptir. Bu çalışma ile adeta günümüzden kaleme alındığı döneme farklı cephelerden açılan pencere mahiyetindeki şer'iyye sicillerinden bir tanesinin daha araştırmacıların hizmetine kazandırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde defterin aylara göre hüküm yoğunluğu, hükülerin konularına göre gruplandırılması, Trabzon'un defterde adı geçen kaza, nahiye, köy ve mahalleleri derlenmitir. İkinci ve üçüncü bölümde sırasıyla sosyal ve iktisadi hayat kayıtların sunduğu bilgi ölçüsünde değerlendirilmiş, defterde ham halde bulunan bilgi işlenilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca transkripsiyon metnine geçmedn önce hüküm özetleri tablo üzerinde gösterilerek; sicilde dağınık halde bulunan konulara kolay erişilebilmesi sağlanmıştır.

The 1818 numbered record that is transcribed and evaluated in this study belongs to the Kanuni era, and it illuminates the Trabzon of the years 1564-1566. The record, which is contentful in social and economic matters, also has the content which would allow us to conceive the circumstances of the dhimmis in the Ottoman society. This work aims to put another religious court record, which is like a window opening to the different aspects of that era, at the disposal of researchers. Our study consists of three parts. In the first part of the study, the density of judicial sentences by month, the classification of the sentences based on their subjects, and the towns, districts, villages and neighborhoods of Trabzon that are mentioned in the record are compiled. In the second and third parts, the information given by the record on the social and economic is evaluated respectively, and the raw data in the record is tried to be processed. Furthermore, by showing the judicial sentence summaries on a chart before proceeding with transcription, the subjects that are scattered in the record are made easily accesible.
