Abstract

Gamma irradiation damage centers in (CH<inf>3</inf>)<inf>3</inf>NHClO<inf>4</inf> and CH<inf>3</inf>NH<inf>3</inf>ClO<inf>4</inf> single crystals have been investigated at room temperature by the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technique. It has been found that γ-irradiation produces the (CH<inf>3</inf>)<inf>3</inf>N+ radical in the first, and NH<inf>3</inf>+ and ClO<inf>3</inf> radicals in the second compound. The EPR parameters of the observed radicals have been determined and discussed.; Gamma irradiation damage centers in (CH<inf>3</inf>)<inf>3</inf>NHClO<inf>4</inf> and CH<inf>3</inf>NH<inf>3</inf>ClO<inf>4</inf> single crystals have been investigated at room temperature by the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technique.
