Sedation and Analgesia in Emergency Department

Abstract

The aproach of the doctors to the patient in Emergency deparment includes supporting vital functions and treating the main cause. Apropriate treatment of pain and anxiety is inadequate because of concers of adverse effects and ignorance. But inadequate treatment of pain and anxiety may cause undesirable differences in all systems of the patient. The present paper discusses the necessity of pain and anxiety relief in Emergency Department and some usefull methods and drugs.
