Determination Of Satisfaction Levels Of Treatment And Nursing Care Of Patients in Peloid Therapy Unit

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to reveal satisfaction levels and views and determine the variations that might effect satisfactions of patients who receive treatment in a peloid therapy unit of a public hospital. Material and Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was performed in a peloid therapy unit of a public hospital in Istanbul. Study population consisted of 350 patients who received peloid treatment (mud therapy) between 01-30/04/2016 and study sample consisted of male and female total 302 patients who received 10 session of peloid therapy above the 18 years of age. Data was collected by using socio-demographic survey and Newcastle Satisfaction with Nursing Care Scale. Data analysis was performed through percentage and mean, standard deviation, Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney U test by using statistical software SPSS 21. Results
