Abstract

IV ÖZET KARADENİZ BÖLGESİNDEKİ TAZE FASULYE (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) GEN KAYNAKLARININ TOPLANMASI, FENOLOJİK VE MORFOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ VE TAZE TÜKETİME UYGUN TİPLERİN TEKSEL SELEKSİYON YÖNTEMİ İLE SEÇİMİ ÜZERİNDE ARAŞTIRMALAR Bu çalışma, 1995-1998 yılları arasında yürütülmüştür. Araştırma, taze fasulye gen kaynağı yönünden büyük zenginlik gösteren Karadeniz Bölgesi'ndeki mevcut taze fasulye populasyonlarının toplanması, özelliklerinin belirlenmesi, taze tüketime uygun tiplerin teksel seleksiyon yolu ile seçilerek ıslah programına alınması ve ticari anlamda üreticilere kazandırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla l.yıl 36 bodur, 164 sırık formlu 200 materyal incelenmiş, 2. yıl bunlar arasından 12 bodur ve 34 sırık hat seçilmiştir. 3.yıl denemeleri sonucunda ise ebeveyn hatlardan çoğaltılan 16 bodur ve 46 sırık hat, çeşit adayı olarak belirlenmiştir. Bodur formlu hatlardan 55 ÇA 11/ 1-3, 1-5, 55 ÇA 02/ 4-7, 4-9, 55 ÇA 04/ 1-2, 2-4, 4-3, 55 ÇA 19/ 1-5, 2-3, 3-2; sırık formlu hatlardan ise 55 AY 01/ 4-5, 4-6, 4-8, 3-5, 4-2, 52 ÜN 01/1-8, 2-4, 52 OR 15/ 3- 3 ve 2-1 hatlarının diğerlerinden daha üstün özelliklere sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmada incelenen tiplerin ve hatların fenolojik ve morfolojik özellikleri de belirlenmiştir. Yine bu çalışma ile seleksiyon çalışması sonuçlarının daha sağlıklı olarak değerlendirilebilmesi için, Yalova 5, Yalova 17, Gina, 4F-89, Dade ve Alman Ayşe çeşitleri de denemeye alınarak özellikleri belirlenmiş ve bu çeşitlerin seçilen çeşit adaylarından farklı oldukları ortaya konulmuştur. Laboratuvarda, biyokimyasal yöntemlerden SDS-PAGE yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan çeşit tanımlamalarına göre fasulye çeşit adaylarının ve ticari çeşitlerin birbirlerinden farklı band sayısı ve Rf değerlerine sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Çeşit adaylarını band sayılarının 6-15 arasında, ticari çeşitlerin ise 7-13 arasında olduğu ve Rf değerlerinin birbirlerinden farklı mesafelerde oldukları saptanmıştır. V ABSTRACT A RESEARCH ON COLLECTION OF GENETIC RESOURCES, DETERMINATION OF PHENOLOGICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND SELECTION OF SUITABLE TYPES FOR FRESH CONSUMPTION BY PEDIGREE SELECTION IN GREEN BEAN ((Phaseolus vulgaris L) IN THE BLACK SEA REGION This study was carried out during 1995 and 1998. The objectives of the study were to gather the populations of green bean in the Black Sea Region to determine their characteristics and to select the suitable types by Pedigree selection and to enable the growers to utilize these types commercially. For this aim, in the first year of the study; 36 dwarf and 164 climbing types were investigated and 12 dwarf and 34 climbing lines were selected amongst these types in the second year of the study. In the third year, 16 dwarf and 46 runner lines which were reproduced from the parent lines were selected as candidate of cultivar. 55 ÇA 11/1-3, 1-5, 55 ÇA 02/ 4-7, 4-9, 55 ÇA 04/ 1-2, 2-4, 4-3, 55 ÇA 19/ 1-5, 2-3, 3-2 for the dwarf lines and 55 AY 01/ 4-5, 4-6, 4-8, 3-5, 4-2, 52 UN 01/1-8, 2-4, 52 OR 15/ 3-3 and 2-1 for the climbing lines were found to have better characteristics than the others. In addition, the morphological and phenological characteristics of the types and lines investigated in the study were also determined. In the present study, Cvs. Yalova 5, Yalova 17, Gina, 4F-89, Dade and Alman Ayşe were also investigated for determining their characteristics in order to make a more accurate decision for the lines obtained from the present study. Howewer, it was found that the above cultivars had different characteristics from the candidates of cultivar of the present study. It was also found that candidates of cultivar from this study differed from the commercial cultivars in terms of the number of band and Rf values determined by Bio-chemical method of SDS-PAGE which is used for cultivar identification. The number band of the candidates of cultivar was between 6 and 15 while commercial cultivars had a band number of 7 to 13. Rf values of the commercial cultivars and the candidates of cultivar from the present study were also found to be at different distances.
