Publication: Romantik İlişkilerde Psikolojik Şiddet, İlişkide Otantiklik ve Evliliğe Yüklenen Anlam
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı romantik ilişkilerde psikolojik şiddet, ilişkinin otantikliği ve evliliğe yüklenen anlam arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 18 yaş üstü 509 kadın oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama sürecinde Kadına Psikolojik Kötü Muamele Envanteri, İlişkide Otantiklik Ölçeği ve Evliliğe Yüklenen Anlam Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veri analizinde SPSS 21.0 paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri analizi sürecinde Spearmen Rho korelasyonu, basit doğrusal regresyon, Mann Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları romantik ilişkilerde psikolojik şiddet, ilişkinin otantikliği ve evliliğe yüklenen anlam olmak üzere araştırmaya konu olan bütün değişkenlerin birbirleriyle anlamlı düzeyde ilişkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Araştırmaya göre psikolojik şiddet ilişkinin otantikliği ile anlamlı düzeyde negatif (r=-.36, p<.05), evliliğe yüklenen negatif anlamla anlamlı düzeyde pozitif (r=-.15, p<.05), evliliğe yüklenen pozitif anlamla anlamlı düzeyde negatif (r=-.19, p<.05) ilişkilidir. Ayrıca otantik ilişki de evliliğe yüklenen pozitif anlamla anlamlı düzeyde pozitif (r=.12, p<.05), evliliğe yüklenen negatif anlamla anlamlı düzeyde negatif (r=-.38, p<.05) ilişkilidir. Bulgular psikolojik şiddetin ilişkinin otantikliği (%10.2), evliliğe yüklenen pozitif anlamı (%3.4) ve evliliğe yüklenen negatif anlamı (%1.5) anlamlı düzeyde yordadığını göstermiştir. Bunun yanısıra değişkinler yaş, ilişki durumu, eğitim durumu ve ilişki süresine göre incelenmiştir. Araştırma bulguları literatür çerçevesinde tartışılmış, elde edilen sonuçlara göre araştırmacılara ve psikolojik danışmanlara önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological violence in romantic relationships, the authenticity of the relationship and the meaning of marriage. The sample of the study consists of 509 women over the age of 18. During the data collection process, the Women's Psychological Abuse Inventory, the Authenticity in Relationship Scale and the Meaning of Marriage Scale were used SPSS 21.0 package program was used in data analysis. The findings of the study showed that all the variables in the study, including psychological violence in romantic relationships, the authenticity of the relationship and the meaning of marriage, were significantly related to each other. According to the study, psychological violence was significantly negative with the authenticity of the relationship (r=-.36, p<.05), significantly positive with the negative meaning attributed to marriage (r=-.15, p<.05), and significantly negative with the positive meaning of marriage (r=-.19, p<.05) are correlated. In addition, the authentic relationship; is significantly positive correlated (r=.12, p<.05) with the positive meaning of marriage, and significantly negative correlated (r=-.38, p<.05) with the negative meaning attributed to marriage. Findings showed that psychological violence in romantic relationships significantly predicted the authenticity of the relationship (10.2%), the positive meaning of marriage (3.4%), and the negative meaning of marriage (1.5%). In addition, the variables were examined according to age, relationship status, education level and duration of relationship. The research findings were discussed within the framework of the literature, and suggestions were made to researchers and psychological counselors according to the results obtained.
