The subject of the work is the analysis in the iconographic context named "Moses Striking Rock for Water" in Syria Dura Europos, where the oldest murals based on Torah are found. The matter in the three holy books was also examined based on Erwin Panofsky's "Method of Iconographic and Iconological Criticism". By studying the source and origin of the work, it was tried to determine the sacred scriptures commitment. Since the Middle Ages, the subject has become a unique narrative and form in Christianity and is also described as a source of composition in the Qur'an.en_US
