Endodontik Tedavi ve Operatif İşlemlerde Rubber Dam Kullanım Oranlarının Değişik Parametrelere Göre Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı; diş hekimliği fakültelerindeki öğretim elemanlarının rubber dam (RD) kullanım oranlarını değişik parametrelere göre karşılaştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Öğretim elemanlarının RD kullanım oranlarını tespit etmek amacıyla mezun olunan diş hekimliği fakültesi, mezuniyet yılı, cinsiyet ve endodontik tedavi ile operatif işlemlerde RD kullanım sıklığının sorulduğu bir anket formu hazırlandı. Ankete 127 öğretim elemanı katıldı. Bulgular: Verilerin istatistiksel analizinden ülkemiz diş hekimliği fakültelerindeki öğretim elemanlarının endodontik tedavi ve operatif işlemlerinde RD kullanma oranlarının mezun olunan fakülteye, mezuniyet yılına ve cinsiyete göre değişmediği sonucuna varıldı (p0.05) Sonuç: Öğretim elemanlarının rubber dam kullanma oranlarının oldukça düşük çıkması arzu edilmeyen bir durumdur.Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the frequency of using rubber dam (RD) among academicians in dental faculties according to different parameters. Material and Methods: To determine the RD usage ratio of the academicians, a questionnaire form was developed which containing graduated dental faculty and the year, the gender of the academician and the frequency of using RD during endodontic and operative procedures. 127 lecturers filled out this guestionnaire form. Results: Data were analyzed statistically and it was concluded that the frequency of use of RD for endodontic and operative procedures were not different for all parameters (p>0.05). Conclusion: Based on the results the use of RD seems largely neglected, and this is an undesirable situation.
