Publication: Sosyal ve Ekonomik Etkileri Açısından 1828-1829 Osman-Rus Savaşı
Abstract
1828-1829 Osmanlı-Rus Savaşı sonunda imzalanan Edirne Antlaşması'yla Rumların ba-ğımsızlığa ulaşmaları birçok ulusu bünyesinde barındıran Osmanlı Devleti'ni derinden etki-lemiştir. Öbür yandan gerek Kafkas cephesinde gerekse Balkan cephesinde çok sayıda reayanın yerlerini yurtlarını bırakarak Rusya'ya göç etmesi, askerî, siyasî, sosyal, ekono-mik, demografik bazı değişikliklere ve gelişmelere yol açmıştır. Bu durum yalnızca reayayı etkilememiş, Anadolu'ya birçok yeni yük ve sorumluluk getirmiştir. Ayrıca bu savaşta sal-gınlar yüzünden binlerce insan hayatını kaybetmiştir. Bilhassa salgınlar yüzünden Rus-ya'nın kaybı cephede verdiği kayıplardan daha fazladır. Salgın hastalıklar, göçlerle birlikte savaşın etkili olduğu bölgelerde demografik yapıda büyük değişiklikler meydana getirmiştir. İşte bu araştırmada 1828-1829 Osmanlı-Rus Savaşı'nın cereyan ettiği ve sona erdiği dö-nemlerde meydana gelen sosyal ve ekonomik değişiklikler ele alınmıştır.
