3-[(2,4-Di­nitro­phenyl)­Hydrazono]­Butan-2-One Oxime

Abstract

The title compound, C<inf>10</inf>H<inf>11</inf>N<inf>5</inf>O<inf>5</inf>, contains of dinitrophenyl, monooxime and hydrazone groups. The molecules are linked through O - H⋯N and C - H⋯O hydrogen bonds. There are also π-π interactions and intramolecular hydrogen bonds. All these hydrogen bonds are highly effective in forming dimeric chains, thereby stabilizing the crystal structure.
