Mustafa Kemal Paşa'nın Samsun Ziyaretleri

Abstract

Reis-i Cumhur Mustafa Kemal Paşa, Milli Mücadele'nin başlangıç noktası olan Samsun'a ilk olarak 19 Mayıs 1919 tarihinde geldi. Milli mücadele hareketini azim ve kararlı iradesiyle başarıyla tamamladı. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti'ni kurdu ve yeni kurulan bu devleti çağdaş medeniyetler seviyesine çıkarmak için inkılâplar yaptı. Bu inkılâpları halka tanıtmak ve halka benimsetmek için çeşitli yurt gezilerine çıktı. Bu yurt gezilerinde halkın sorunlarını dinledi, dertlerine çözümler buldu. Çıkmış olduğu bu yurt gezilerinde Milli Mücadele'yi başlattığı Samsun'a da çeşitli zamanlarda gelmişlerdir. Mustafa Kemal Paşa, Samsun'u toplam olarak dört defa ziyaret etmiştir. Bu ziyaretlerinde Samsun halkı kendisini büyük bir coşkuyla karşıladı. Samsun'da halkın ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel hayatına dair önemli açıklamalarda bulundu. Bu çalışma ile dönemin kaynakları kullanılarak bu ziyaretlere dair bilgiler verilmiştir.

Mustafa Kemal Pasha, President of the Republic, came to Samsun, where the Turkish War of Independence began, first on May 19, 1919. He completed the movement of National Struggle with his determined willpower. He founded the Republic of Turkey and made a number of revolutions to raise it to the level of contemporary civilizations. He made nationwide visits to introduce the revolutions and help the people embrace them. During these visits, he was also interested in the problems of the people and provided solutions for these problems. Four of these visits were to Samsun, where he started the war of independence. He was greeted enthusiastically by the people in Samsun in each of these visits. He contributed greatly to the economic, social and cultural lives of the people. In this study, the Samsun visits are examined by using the sources of the period.
