Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği Puanlarının Çeşitli Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi'rıe bağlı fakültelerde ve Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksek Okulu'nda (BESYO) öğrenim gören lisans öğrencilerinin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanları ile ilgilendikleri müzik türü, izledikleri sinema filmi türü, sıklıkla takip ettikleri TV programı türü, ilgilendikleri spor dalı, öğrenim gördükleri fakülte ve cinsiyetleri gibi değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkeni olan öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanlarının ölçülmesi amacıyla Kartallar (1996) tarafından geliştirilen ve ayrıca geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması yapılan Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçek 'Doğru - Yanlış' şekilnde cevaplandırılan 37 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçekten alınabilecek en yüksek puan '37', en düşük puan ise '0'dır. Bağımsız değişkenlere ilişkin verilerin toplanması amacıyla 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2003 - 2004 eğitim - öğretim yılında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi'ne bağlı fakülte ve yüksek okullarda lisans öğrenimi görmekte olan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın ömeklemi ise bu okullardan random örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiş 465' i kız, 549'u erkek toplam 1014 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır.94 Verilerin istatistiksel analizi için toplanan veriler SPSS 11.0 programı kullanılarak bilgisayara aktarılmış; t-testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi ve LSD teknikleri kullanılarak toplanan veriler analiz edilmiştir. Bu araştırmada elde edilen bulgular, maddeler halinde şöylece özetlenebilir: 1. Cinsiyete göre; kız ve erkek öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanları arasında önemli farklar bulunmaktadır. Erkek öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanları kızlarınkinden daha yüksektir. 2. Öğrenim gördükleri fakülte ve yüksek okula göre; öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanları arasında önemli farklar bulunmaktadır. BESYO öğrencilerinin ADÖ puanı ortalamaları diğer gruplardan daha yüksektir. İlahiyat fakültesi öğrencileri ise en düşük puan ortalamasına sahiptir. 3. İlgilendikleri müzik türüne göre; öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanları arasında önemli farklar bulunmaktadır. Arabesk dinleyen öğrenciler Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği'nden en yüksek puan ortalamasını alırken, en düşük puan ortalaması klasik müzik dinleyen grupta görülmüştür. 4. İzledikleri sinema filmi türüne göre; öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanları arasında önemli farklar bulunmaktadır. Buna göre, korku filmi izleyen öğrencilerden oluşan grubun puanı en yüksek ortalama değere sahiptir. 5. Sıklıkla takip ettikleri TV programı türüne göre; öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış ölçeği puanları arasında önemli farklar bulunmamaktadır.95 6. İlgilendikleri spor dalına göre; öğrencilerin Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanları arasında önemli farklar bulunmaktadır. Dövüş sporlarıyla ilgilenen öğrenciler en yüksek Antisosyal Davranış Ölçeği puanı ortalamasına sahip olurken, raket sporları en düşük skoru elde etmiştir.

In this study, the relationship between the Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the undergraduate students who receive education at the faculties of Ondokuz Mayıs University in view of several variables such as, gender, faculty, and their chocies of music, movie, TV program and sports has been analysed. In order to evaluate the Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the students 'Antisocial Behavior Scale' developed by Kartallar (1996) has been used, and also in order to get personal information about students, 'Personal Information Form' has been developed by the researcher. The study includes undergraduate students at the faculties of Ondokuz Mayıs University during 2003 - 2004 academic year. 465 female and 549 male students, the total number of which is 1014, have been randomly chosen. For the study, independent samples t-test, one - way ANOVA and LSD techniques have been used to analyse the data by using SPSS 11.0 program in a Windows PC. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: 1. There is a significant difference between gender and Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the students. It has been found that the Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the male students are higher than those of the female students. 2. A significant difference has been detected between the faculties and Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the students. When compared97 with the scores of the other groups, it has been observed that the mean scores of Antisocial Behavior Scale of BESYO students are the highest of them all. The students of the Faculty of Theology have the least mean score. 3. According to the music choice of the students, a significant difference has been detected between the Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the students and the music choice. The students who listen to arabesque music have the highest mean score from Antisocial Behavior Scale; however, the classical music listeners have the least mean score. 4. In terms of movie choice, there is a significant difference between movie choice of the students and Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the students. The mean scores of the Antisocial Behavior Scale of the students who like to watch horror films are the highest of them all. 5. According to TV program choice, a significant difference has not been detected between Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the students and their TV program choice. 6. In terms of the sports choice of the students there is a significant difference between Antisocial Behavior Scale scores of the students and their sports choice. Whereas the students who are interested in fight sports have the highest mean score of Antisocial Behavior Scale, the students who are interested in racket sports have the least mean score.
