Türkiye'de Öğrenim Gören Afganistan Uyruklu Öğrencilerin İletişim Sorunları: Samsun Örneği

Abstract

This research was carried out to examine the communication problems of Afghan students who are in Turkey for educational purposes. In this direction, the online survey form created by using the relevant literature was applied to Afghan students studying in the 2020-2021 academic year at Ondokuz Mayıs University in Samsun. In the 2020-2021 academic year, 212 Afghan students are studying at Nineteen may University.T The research was conducted on 120 students determined by easy sampling method. The results of the study were evaluated in the SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Students were first asked what kind of problems they faced in Turkey. 67.50% of students stated that they had economic problems, while the rate of experiencing language and communication problems was 30%. Among communication problems, a 5-out-of-5 assessment found that 'relationships with members of the opposite sex' with an average of 2.56 and 'relationships with people who represent authority, such as the police' with an average of 2.49. The communication problems they experienced at the lowest level were determined to be 'able to express oneself' with an average of 1.91 and 'understanding jokes and humor' with an average of 1.93.

Bu araştırma; Türkiye'de eğitim amacıyla bulunan Afganistan uyruklu öğrencilerin iletişim sorunlarını incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda ilgili literatürden faydalanılarak oluşturulan online anket formu; Samsun'da bulunan Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi'nde 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında eğitim gören Afganistan uyruklu öğrencilere uygulanmıştır. 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi'nde 212 Afganistan uyruklu öğrenci eğitim görmektedir. Araştırma kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiş 120 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmadan ulaşılan sonuçlar SPSS 21.0 istatistik programında değerlendirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin yaşadıkları iletişim sorunları arasında 5 üzerinden yapılan değerlendirmeye göre en fazla 2,56 ortalama ile 'Karşı cinsle iletişim kurmakta sorun yaşamıyorum' ve 2,49 ortalama ile 'Polis, asker gibi otoriteyi temsil eden insanlarla iyi ilişkiler kuruyorum' ifadelerine yönelik olduğu saptanmıştır. En düşük düzeyde yaşadıkları iletişim sorunları ise 1,91 ortalama ile 'Kendimi iyi ifade edebildiğimi düşünüyorum' ve 1,93 ortalama ile 'Türkiye'de yapılan şakaları ve mizahı anlıyorum' ifadelerine yönelik olduğu belirlenmiştir.
