dc.description.abstractThe dihedral angles between the phenyl ring and the naphthalene part of the chromanone unit in the two independent mol-ecules of the title compound, C20H14O2, are 56.17 (4) and 55.62 (7)°. The mol-ecular structure is stabilized by weak intra-molecular C - H⋯O inter-actions and the crystal packing is stabilized by weak C - H⋯π inter-actions. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.en_US
