Lise Öğrencilerinin Bazı Değişkenlere Göre Rekabetçi Tutum, Psikolojik Belirtiler ve Problem Çözme Beceri Düzeyleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmada lise öğrencilerinin bazı değişkenlere göre rekabetçi tutumları, psikolojik belirtileri ve problem çözme beceri düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla Samsun ?l'ine bağlı 3 merkez ilçeden, 9 lise'de 9., 10., 11., 12.sınıfta eğitim gören 539 kız ve 501 erkek olmak üzere toplam 1040 öğrenciye Rekabetçi Tutum Ölçeği, Kısa Semptom Envanteri ve Problem Çözme Envanteri ile birlikte araştırma için hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada verilerin çözümlenmesi amacıyla Bağımsız Örneklemler T-Testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi ve LSD teknikleri kullanılmış olup SPSS 15.0 paket programından yararlanılmıştır.Yapılan araştırmada öğrencilerin rekabetçi tutumları ile problem çözme becerileri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunurken psikolojik belirti düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Araştırmada kız öğrenciler erkeklere oranla daha rekabetçi bulunmuştur. Ailedeki doğum sırasına göre ortanca çocuklarının küçük çocuklarına oranla daha rekabetçi olduğu bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin rekabetçi tutumları ile öğrenim gördükleri sınıf düzeyi, ailesinin ekonomik düzeyi ve fiziksel görünümünü değerlendirmesi bakımından anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır.Araştırmada öğrencilerin psikolojik belirti düzeyleri ile problem çözme becerileri arasında negatif yönde bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre daha fazla psikolojik semptom gösterdikleri bulunmuştur. Öğrenim görülen sınıf düzeyine göre anlamlı farklar bulunmuş en yüksek psikolojik belirtinin 12.sınıflarda olduğu saptanmıştır. Fiziksel görünümünü olumsuz olarak algılayan öğrencilerin ve ekonomik düzeyi düşük olan öğrencilerin daha yüksek psikolojik belirti gösterdikleri saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin doğum sırasına göre psikolojik belirtileri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır.Araştırmada öğrencilerin problem çözme becerileri ile psikolojik belirtileri arasında negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunurken rekabetçi tutumları ile pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre daha yüksek problem çözme becerilerine sahip olduğu, öğrenim görülen sınıf düzeyine göre anlamlı bir fark bulunmuş ve en düşük problem çözme becerisinin 9.sınıflarda olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin fiziksel görünümünü değerlendirmeleri ile problem çözme becerileri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuş, ailedeki doğum sırasına ve ekonomik düzeye göre anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Rekabetçi tutum, Psikolojik Belirtiler, Problem Çözme Becerisi, Lise Öğrencileri

The aim of this study is to examine the relation of competitive attitude, psychological symptoms and problem solving skills with some variables in High school students By this aim, Competiteveness Scale, Short Symptom Inventory Scale, Problem Solving Inventory and Personal Information Form were applied to the 539 female and 501 male students 1040 students aat total at the three counties of Samsun to a nine high school from ninth to twelfth grades.While analyzing the inputs, it was used ındependent example test, one-way variance analyze, LSD tecniques and it was used SPSS 15.0 packet data program.In the research while it was found a positive way realation between competitive attitude and problem solving skills, it was found no meaningful relation between competitive attitude and psychological symptoms. Female students were found more competitive than the male students. The middle children of the families were more competitive than the last children. It was found no relation betweeen competitiveness and the grade, the economic classification and physical appereances.The relation betweeen physcological symptoms and the problem solving skills were negative. Female students showed much more of the psychological symptoms than male ones. It was found a meaningful relation between the grades which was at twelfth. It was defined that the students who had negative opinions of their physical appereances showed more psychologicalsymptoms than the ones who had low income. There was no meaningful relation between the birth order of the students and the competitiveness.While it was found a negative way meaningful relation between psychological symptoms and the problem solving skills, there was a positive way meaningful relation between competitive attitude and psychological symptoms. Ninth grades had the lowest problem solving skills and female students had much more ability on problem solving than the male students. It was found a meaningful relation between evaluation on physical appereances and problem solving skills while there was no meaningful relation between birth order and economic class.
