Abstract

Bu çalısmada öncelikli olarak edebiyat tarihinin edebiyat biliminin diger dallarıylailiskisi incelenmistir. Daha sonra edebiyat tarihinin ne oldugu ve kapsamı incelenmis vebu disiplinin uygulanmasında kullanılabilecek olan yöntemler üzerinde durulmustur.Çalısmanın devamında smail Habib Sevük'ün ?Türk Teceddüt Edebiyatı Tarihi? adlıeserinin edebiyat tarihçiligindeki yeri, eserde kullanılan yöntem ve buna baglı olarakeserin eksik yanları ortaya konulmaya çalısılmıstır.This study primarily examines the relationship of the history of literature with othersubdisciplines of literature. Then, it also scrutinizes what the history of literature meanand the topics it includes. Another aspect of our study is about the methods which canbe applied in this discipline. Our study details the importance of smal Habib Sevük?s?Türk Teceddüt Edebiyatı Tarihi?, methods used and points which need to be revised.
