Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, çocuk sahibi olan ve olmayan aile bireylerinin evlilik doyumunu ve problem çözme becerilerini karşılaştırmaktır.Katılımcılar 200?ü çocuk sahibi olan ve 200?ü çocuk sahibi olmayan 400 evli bireyden ( 200 kadın ve 200 erkek) oluşur. Araştırmanın evrenini Samsun ve ilçelerinde yaşayan çiftler oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada eşlerin bireylerin evlilik doyumlarını ölçmek için Evlilik Yaşamı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bireylerin problem çözme becerileri Evlilikte Sorun Çözme Ölçeği ile ölçülmüştür. Ayrıca kişisel bilgiler için kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır.Araştırma bulgularına göre:Çocuk sahibi olan aile bireylerinin evlilik doyumu, çocuk sahibi olmayan aile bireylerinden düşüktür. Çocuk sahibi olan aile bireylerinin problem çözme becerileri ile çocuk sahibi olmayan aile bireylerinin problem çözme becerileri arasında anlamlı bir fark yoktur. Evlilik doyumu ve problem çözme becerileri çocuk sayısına bağlı olarak anlamlı düzeyde farklılık göstermektedir. The purpose of this resaerch is to compare families who has children , with families , who doesn't has children in terms of marital satisfaction and problem solving abilities.Participants have consisted of 400 married individuals (200 female and 200 male) of whom 200 of them have children and 200 of them don't have children. The working stage of the resaerch consists of couples living in Samsun and its' distincts .In this research Marriage Life Scale have been used to determine marital satisfaction of individuals. Problem solving abilities of individuals have been measured by Marital Problem Solving Scale. And Individual Information Form was used in this study.According to the research's results:Marital satisfaction of individuals who have got children is lower than individuals who haven't got children. There isn't significant difference between individuals who have got children and haven't got children in terms of problem solving abilities. Marital satisfaction and problem solving abilities have defined differences depending on the number of children..Marital satisfaction and problem solving abilities haven't showed differences depending on the perriod of marriage and the educational level.Key WordsMarriage, Marital Satisfaction , Problem , Problem Solving, Family
