Kur’ân’ın Korunmasında Hâfızlık Müssesesesi

Abstract

Kur’ân, nâzil olmaya başladığı andan itibaren, ilk muhatabı Hz. Peygamber ve onun gözetimindeki seçkin sahabe tarafından ezberlenerek koruma altına alınmıştır. Bu makale, Hz. Peygamber’den günümüze Kur’ân’ın muhafazası konusunda ona inananların Kur’ân’ı Kerîm’i ezberleyerek gösterdik-leri gayreti ve bu doğrultuda geliştirdikleri hâfızlık müessesesini konu edinmektedir.Since the beginning of the descending of the Qur‘an, it was protected by the Prophet Muhammad himself and his Companions by memorizing. This article examines how the believers have showed great endeavour in the protecting of the Qur‘an through memorizing of the whole Qur‘an since the time of the Prophet Muhammad until our time and deals with the institution of being hafız (memo-rizing the whole Qur‘an by heart) in this direction.
