Doğankent Çayı Yukarı Havzasının Doğal Bitki Örtüsü, Kale Doğusu-Gümüşhane

Abstract

Araştırma sahası Doğankent Çayı Yukarı Havzası'nın Kale Kasabasının doğusu ve yakın çevresinden oluşur. Bu alan kuzeyde Ziyaret Tepesi (2.368 m) doğuda Vavukdağı Tepesi (2.100 m) güneyde Tonarbaşı Tepesi (2.400 m) ve batıda Hur vadisi ile sınırlıdır. Çalışmada, inceleme alanının doğal bitki örtüsünün ortaya konulması ve bitki örtüsünün dağılışında etkili olan coğrafi faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde amaç, malzeme ve metot, ikinci bölümde bitki örtüsünün ekolojik koşulları (iklim, jeomorfolojik özellikler ve toprak özellikleri) ile sahada yayılış gösteren bitki formasyonları incelenmeye çalışılmıştır ve üçüncü bölüm ise sonuç ve öneriler kısmından oluşmaktadır. Araştırma sahasında daha önce bitki örtüsü ile ilgili ayrıntılı bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu nedenle Kale Kasabası'nın doğusunu oluşturan Doğankent Çayı Yukarı Havzası'nın doğal bitki örtüsü ayrıntılı olarak ilk defa tarafımızdan ele alınmıştır. Arazi çalışmaları sırasında, özellikle dağlık kütleler üzerinden kuzey-güney yönünde geçilerek bitki numuneleri toplanmıştır. Toplanan numunelerin teşhisi ile bitki türlerinin dağılışı coğrafi bilgi sistemleri kullanılarak harita üzerinde açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Research area is east of Kale town and close surroundings in Dogankent Creek upper basin. The area is bordered with Ziyaret Hill (2.368 m) on the north, Vavukdagı Hill (2.100 m) on the east, Tonarbasi Hill (2.400 m) on the south, and Hur valley on the west. The aim of this study is to reveal natural vegetation cover of study area and to determine geographic factors effecting the distribution of vegetation cover. The study consists of three parts. The aim, material, and methods are explained at the first part. Ecological conditions of vegetation cover and vegetation formations distributed on the area are determined on the second part. The third part is about of results and discussion. Previously, there were not any detailed research about vegetation cover in the study area. Therefore, the vegetation cover of Dogankent Creek upper basin on the east of Kale town is identified for the first time. During the field researches, plant samples are gathered from mountainous areas following north to south directions. After the identification of the plant samples, the distribution of the plant species on the study area is explained on the maps which are produced using geographic information systems.
