An Improved Class of Regression Estimators Using the Auxiliary Information

Abstract

Using the auxiliary information, the paper introduces an enhanced class of regression type estimators. Seven improved regression type estimators are provided, and their biases and MSEs are estimated up to the first degree of approximates. Also presented the conditions under which the proposed estimators lead to superior results compared with other existing estimators. The empirical study in support of the findings is performed to test the efficiency of the proposed estimators.
