Muhammed Ali Es-Sâbuni and Rhetorical Aspect of His Commentary of Safvetü't-Tefâsir

Abstract

'Muhammed Ali es-Sâbuni ve Safvetü't-Tefâsir Adlı Tefsirinin Belâgat Yönü' isimli bu çalışmamızda; müfessir Sâbuni hakkında bilgi vermeyi ve Safvetü't-Tefâsir adlı tefsirinin metodu ile belâgat ilmi bakımından özelliğini ortaya koyarak ulaştığımız neticeleri bilim dünyasının dikkatine sunmayı hedefledik. Belâgat insanın, amacını durumun gerektirdiği şekilde kolay ve anlaşılır bir tarzda ifade etmesinin yanında, muhataba tesir edecek tarzda söz söyleme sanatıdır. Belâgata dair çalışmalar ilk önce edebî tenkîd seklinde başlamış, bunun yanında Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'in daha iyi anlaşılması için başlatılan telîf gayretleriyle hızlı bir şekilde devam etmiştir. Belâgatın müstakil bir ilim hâlini alması ise ancak H. IV. asır sonlarından VIII. asır sonlarına kadar olmuştur. Sâbuni, tefsirinde belâgat ilmini çok etkili bir biçimde kullanmış, Beydâvî, Râzî ve Zemâhşerî gibi bazı tefsircilerin eserlerinden azami derecede yararlanmıştır. Çalışmamızda belâgat sanatı, daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için beyân, meâni ve bedî' şeklindeki bölümleri açıklanmış, bu bölümler Kur'ân ayetleri ile zenginleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca, belâgat ilmine dair verdiğimiz örnek âyet ve açıklamalar hem bu sanatların anlaşılmasını kolaylaştırmış, hem de okuyucuya bu sanatları karşılaştırma imkânı sağlamıştır. Bu çalışma, bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde, tezin konusu, amacı ve önemine yer verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde, Sâbuni'nin hayatı ve ilmi kişiliğinin yanı sıra eserleri konusuna temas edilmiş; ikinci bölümde belâgat ilmi ve tarihi gelişimi ile belâgat ilminin Kur'an tefsirindeki önemi konusu ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, Sâbuni tefsirinin belâgat ilmi bakımından özellikleri Kur'an âyetleri ve kaynak tefsirler ışığında ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç bölümünde ise, bu çalışmayla ulaştığımız neticeler özetlenmiştir. Anahtar sözcükler: Sâbuni, Safvetü't-Tefâsir, belâgat.In this study, named 'Muhammad Ali es-Sâbuni and Rhetorical Aspect of His Commentary of 'Safvetü't-Tefâsir' we aimed to provide information about Sâbuni and his method in the commentary of 'Safvetü't-Tefâsir' and evaluate this commentary from the point of rhetoric, and then we intended to offer the results that we have reached to the attention of scholars. Rhetoric, on the one hand, is the easy and understandable expression of the desires of human beings as the states of being required; on the other hand, it is the art of effective speech. At first the studies about rhetoric began as a literary criticism and then continued with the copyright efforts for better understanding of the Quran. However rhetoric has become an independent discipline from the end of the 6th Century until the end of the 8th century. es-Sâbuni used the rhetoric effectively in his commentary, at the same time often benefited his work some commentaries as Beydâvî, Râzî and Zemahşerî. Therefore in our study, in order to better understanding, the art of rhetoric is expressed, after divided into parts and then some examples of rhetoric are given. These examples are enhanced with verses from the Quran. Moreover, the examples of the art of rhetoric given from the Turkish language and literature both have contributed these arts to better understanding; and have given the reader the opportunity to make comparisons. This study consists of an introduction and three chapters. In the introduction it is mentioned subject, objectives and importance of the study. In the first chapter is given to information about Sâbuni's life, scientific works and academic personality. In chapter two, it is mentioned rhetoric and its historical development and importance in the Qur'anic Commentary. In the third chapter, it is discussed the features of the Sâbuni's Commentary in terms of rhetoric, in the light of the Qur'anic verses and commentary sources. And in the last chapter, the reached results are summarized. Key Words: Sâbuni, Safvetü't-Tefâsir, Rhetoric.
