Abstract

The structure of the title compound, [Mn<inf>6</inf>(C<inf>4</inf>H <inf>9</inf>O<inf>2</inf>)<inf>10</inf>O<inf>2</inf>(C<inf>4</inf>H <inf>10</inf>O<inf>2</inf>)<inf>4</inf>], has been redetermined at 100K. The improved precision of the structure determination allowed the determination of the positions of the MnIII atoms in the Mn<inf>6</inf>O<inf>2</inf> core. The MnIII⋯MnIII distance of 2.744(3) is significantly shorter than the remaining MnII⋯MnIII distances [3.106(3)-3.137(3)]. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography. All rights reserved.
