Alman İlköğretim Okullarının Almanca Ders Kitaplarında Sosyal ve Kültürel Değer Aktarımının Araştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Alman ilköğretim okullarında okutulan almanca ders kitaplarında hangi kültürel ve sosyal değerlerin ele alındığı, bu değerlerin öğrencilere nasıl aktarıldığı ve değer aktarımındaki amaçların neler olduğunun araştırılması hedeflenmiştir. Almanca konuşulan ülkelerde, ilköğretim seviyesinde okutulan almanca ders kitapları, değer aktarımı bakımından daha önce kapsamlı bir şekilde araştırılmamıştır. Bu nedenle, almanca konuşulan ülkelerden biri olan Avusturya'nın Kufstein şehrinde ilköğretim seviyesinde almanca ders kitabı olarak okutulan Funkelsteine serisi ders kitapları araştırma materyali olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışmada, 'Volksschule Kufstein' İlköğretim seviyesi birinci, ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf kademeleri almanca derslerinde okutulan 'Funkelsteine' ders kitapları, sosyal ve kültürel değerlerin öğrencilere aktarımı açısından incelenmiştir. Funkelsteine serisi almanca ders kitaplarının incelenmesi sonucunda, öğrencilere aktarılması hedeflenen sosyal ve kültürel değerlerin; 'Toplumsal Değerler', 'Doğaya Ait Değerler', 'Çevreye Ait Değerler, 'Zamana ait Değerler', 'Ekonomiye Ait Değerler' ile 'Teknoloji ve Bilime Ait Değerler' olmak üzere toplam altı ana başlık altında verildiği belirlenmiştir. Funkelsteine kitaplarında yer alan metinlerin çocukların yaşsal, bedensel ve ruhsal gelişim seviyeleri dikkate alınarak özenle seçildiği ve bu metinlerde işlenen değerlerin daha çok evrensel değerler olduğu görülmüştür. Ulusal ve yerel değerlere çok fazla yer verilmemiştir. Funkelsteine serisi almanca ders kitaplarında ele alınan sosyal ve kültürel değerler içerisinde, toplumsal ve doğaya ait değerlerin işlendiği metinlere, çevre, zaman, ekonomi, teknoloji ve bilimsel değerlerin işlendiği metinlerden çok daha fazla yer verildiği saptanmıştır. Çocuklara kazandırılmak istenen değerler metinlerde işlenirken genellikle algı oluşturma, bilinç oluşturma, farkındalık yaratma, pekiştirme, benimsetme ve empati kurdurma yolu ile çocukların bu değerleri öğrenmeleri sağlanmıştır. Çocukların kazandıkları sosyal ve kültürel değerleri davranış haline getirmeleri amaçlanmıştır. Anahtar Sözcükler: Kufstein, Almanca, Funkelsteine, Sosyal ve Kültürel değerler.

In this study, It was aimed to investigate that which social and cultural values were tackled in German textbooks educating in German primary schools, how these values were trasferred to students and what are the purposes of transferring of social and cultural values. In German-speaking countries, the german textbooks educaitng in primary school level were not investigated inclusively in terms of transferring of values. Therefore, the 'Funkelsteine' series of german textbooks educaitng in primary school level in Kustein city of Austria is one of the German-speaking countries were selected as research material. The Funkelsteine series of textbooks educating at levels of first, second, third and fourth class levels of 'Volksschule Kufstein' were examined in terms of transferring of social and cultural values to students. As results of investigating of Funkelsteine series german textbook, It was determined that the social and cultural values targeted transferring to students were given totaly under six main headings as 'Social Values', 'The Values of Nature', 'Environmental Values', 'The Values of Time', 'Values of Economy' and 'The Values of Technology and Science'. I was sighted which the texts in Funkelsteine series were selected carefully considering of developmental levels of age, physical and mental of children and the values in these texts are mostly universal. The national and local values were not discussed too much. It was detected that From the social and cultural values in Funkelsteine series german textbook, the texts about the values of social and nature were given much more place than the texts on the values of environment, time, economy, technology and science. While discussing of the values in the texts targeting to gain of childeren, teaching of childeren to these values was provided via to create perception, to create conscious, awareness raising, enhancement, to adopt and to develop empathy. In this way, it is intended that making behavior of the gained social and cultural values. Key Words: Kufstein, German, Funkelsteine, Social and Cultural Values.
