İlkokul ve Ortaokul Öğretmenlerinin Denetim Kaygı Düzeyleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, ilkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinin denetim kaygı düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın evrenini, Samsun İli Büyükşehir Belediyesi sınırları içerisindeki Atakum, Canik, İlkadım ve Tekkeköy ilçelerinde resmi ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapmakta olan 2112 kadın, 1870 erkek olmak üzere 3982 öğretmeni kapsamaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, bu merkez ilçelerden tesadüfi seçilen 252 kadın 174 erkek olmak üzere toplam 426 sınıf ve branş öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkeni olan öğretmenlerin denetim kaygısı ölçeği puanlarını belirlemek amacıyla 'İlköğretim Okullarında Çalışan Öğretmenlerde Gözlenen Denetim Kaygısı Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bağımsız değişkenlerinden; cinsiyet, medeni durum, hizmet yılı ve branş bilgilerin toplanması amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' kullanılmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizinde veriler SPSS 21.0 programı kullanılarak bilgisayara aktarılmış; t-testi, Mann Whitney U, One Way Anova ve Kruskal Wallis H teknikleri kullanılarak analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre; cinsiyet değişkenine göre öğretmenlerin Denetim Kaygısının Duyuşsal Boyutu, Fizyolojik Boyutu, Denetmen Tutumları Boyutu ve Denetlenen Tutumları Boyutu puanları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Kadın öğretmenlerin denetim kaygısının erkek öğretmenlere göre daha yüksek olduğu gözlenmiştir. Medeni durum ve branş değişkenlerine göre, öğretmenlerin Denetim Kaygısı puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır. Hizmet yılı değişkenine göre, Denetim Kaygısının, 'Fizyolojik' boyutunda öğretmenlerin Denetim Kaygısı puanları arasında anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Hizmet yılı '10-20 yıl arası' ve '20 yıldan fazla' olan öğretmenlerin görüşleri farklılık göstermektedir. Denetim Kaygısının, 'Denetlenen Tutumları' boyutunda öğretmenlerin Denetim Kaygısı puanları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Hizmet yılı '10 yıldan az' ve '20 yıldan fazla' ile '10-20 yıl arası' ve '20 yıldan fazla' olan öğretmenlerin görüşleri farklılık göstermektedir. This study examines the supervision anxiety levels observed in primary and secondary school teachers. The universe of the study consists of a total of 3982 teachers, 2112 women and 1870 men, working in state primary and secondary schools in Atakum, Canik, İlkadım and Tekkeköy districts within the boundaries of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality. The sample of the study consists of a total of 426 primary school and branch teachers, 252 women and 174 men, chosen randomly from these districts. In order to find out the supervision anxiety scale scores of teachers, which is the dependent variable of the study, 'Scale for Supervision Anxiety Observed in Teachers of Primary Education' was used. In order to collect the information about gender, marital status, term of service and branch, which are the independent variables of the study, 'Personal Information Form' developed by the researcher was used. The data collected were transferred to computer by using SPSS 21.0 program and the data were analyzed by using t-test, Mann Whitney U, One Way Anova and Kruskal Wallis H test. According to the results of the study, significant differences were found between teachers' affective dimension and physiological dimension of supervision anxiety, supervisor attitudes dimension and supervisee attitudes dimension. Female teachers were found to have higher supervision anxiety than male teachers. No significant differences were found between teachers' supervision anxiety scores in terms of the variables of marital status and branch. In terms of the variable of term of service, significant differences were found between teachers' supervision anxiety scores in the 'physiological' dimension of supervision anxiety. The views of teachers who have term of service 'between 10-20 years' and 'more than 20 years' are different. In the 'supervisee attitudes' of supervision anxiety, significant difference was found between teachers' supervision anxiety scores. There are differences in views of teachers who have term of service 'less than 10 years' and 'more than 20 years' and between teachers who have term of service between 10-20 years' and 'more than 20 years'.
