Kültürel Dönüşümler ve Postmodern Pedagoji Ekseninde Görsel Kültür Eğitimi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, görsel kültür eğitiminin gerekliliğini, kültürel dönüşümler ve Postmodern pedagoji ekseninde değerlendirerek ortaya koymayı amaçlamıştır. Günümüzdeki kültürel çeşitlilikler ve değişkenlikler, görsel temsillerin yeri ve önemi kitle iletişim araçları ile görüntü üreten teknolojiler vasıtasıyla giderek artmaktadır. Görsel kültürün sanatsal, kültürel ve pedagojik çıktılarının postmodernizme dayanması ve görselliğin kültürel çerçevesinde eleştirel yorum doğrultularına yer vermesi bu unsurları postmodernizmle beraber edinmesi sonucundadır. Günümüzde sanat eğitimcisi, günlük yaşam deneyimleri içerisindeki sosyal, kültürel, sanatsal, ekonomik ve politik dönüşümleri analiz ederken, bugünün sanat eğitimi anlayışını karakterize edeceğini düşündüğü bir yapı olarak görsel kültür eğitimini incelemiş ve geleceğin sanat eğitim modellerine katkısı bakımından da zemin oluşturabileceği görüşünü benimsemiştir. Toplumsal yapının değişmesiyle meydana gelen sosyal yeniden yapılanma, kültürel değişimleri ve sanatsal üretimleri yani kültürel üretimlerin sosyal hayata yansıması durumunu gündeme getirmiştir. Sanat eğitimi ne kadar kültürel kılınırsa o kadar da sosyal yapılandırmaya katkılı olur denilebilir. Böylelikle görselliğin sosyal açıdan kültürel oluşumları betimler nitelikte olması, sanat eğitiminin görsel kültür eğitimiyle paydaş tutumlarına katkı sağlamasıyla birlikte görsel kültür eğitiminin, geleneksel sanat eğitiminin yeni bağlam ve kapsamı niteliğinde olduğunu özetler durumdadır. This study aims to reveal the necessity of visual culture education as evaluating it in the axis of cultural transformations and postmodern pedagogy. Today's cultural varieties and variables and the place and importance of visual representations are gradually increasing via mass media and the technologies producing images. The fact that the artistic, cultural and pedagogical outcomes of visual culture depends on postmodernism and they give place to the directions of critical review within the framework of visual culture result from the fact that it obtains these elements along with postmodernism. Today, analyzing the social, cultural, artistic, economic and political transformations in the experiences of daily life, the art educator has seen today's art education concept as a structure to characterize the visual culture education and adopted it as a basis in terms of its contribution to the arts education models of future. The social regeneration caused by the change of social structure raised awareness about cultural changes and artistic productions that is the social reflections of the cultural productions. It is possible to say that the more arts education is based culturally, the more it is additive to social configuration. Thus, the fact that the visualisation describes cultural formations from a social aspect summarizes that arts education makes contributions to its common attitudes with visual culture education and the visual culture education is the new context and scope of traditional arts education.
