Değerlere ve Değerler Eğitimine İlişkin Öğretmen Adaylarının Görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı öğretmen adaylarının değerlere ve değerlereğitimine ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemineuygun olarak durum çalışması yaklaşımı ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada incelenen durum öğretmen adaylarının değerler ve değerler eğitimine ilişkin görüşleridir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden maksimumçeşitlilik örneklemesi ile belirlenmiştir. Bu kapsamda bir devlet üniversitesindeöğrenim gören 25 öğretmen adayı ile bu araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları kullanılarak öğretmen adaylarıylayapılan görüşmelerden elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri betimsel analizyaklaşımı ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının sahipoldukları değerler bağlamında öğrencilere yaklaştıkları belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenadaylarının sahip olduğu değerlerin farklı yaşantıların etkisinde olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının değerler ve değerler eğitimi sürecine ilişkinolarak eğitim fakültelerinde değerler eğitiminin ders olarak verilmesi ve görevyaptıkları illerin kültürel değerleri hakkında hizmet içi eğitimler ve seminerlerverilmesi gerektiği konusunda öneriler getirmişlerdir.

The main purpose of this research is to reveal the opinions of prospective teachers about values and values education. The study was conducted with a case study approach in accordance by the qualitative research method. The case examined in the research is the views of teacher candidates about values and values education. The study group of the research was determined by maximum diversity sampling, one of the purposeful sampling methods. In this context, this study was carried out with 25 prospective teachers studying at a public university. The data of the study was obtained from interviews with prospective teachers using semi-structured interview forms. The data of the research were analyzed with descriptive analysis approach. As a result of the research, it was determined that the prospective teachers approached the students in the context of their values. It was also seen that the values of teacher candidates were influenced by different experiences. Besides, they made suggestions about the values and values education process of teacher trainees that education of values should be given as a course in education faculties and in-service training and seminars should be given about cultural values of the provinces where they work.
