Evlilik İlişkisini Geliştirme Programının, Evlilerin Evlilik Uyum Düzeyine Etkisi

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı, evlilik ilişkisini geliştirme programının evli çiftlerin evlilik uyum düzeylerine etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın deney ve kontrol grubu toplam 28 evli kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada eşlerin evlilik uyum düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Evlilikte Uyum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarına bu ölçek ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Oturumlar yaklaşık 2,5 saat olmak üzere 10 hafta sürmüştür. Oturumların sonunda deney ve kontrol gruplarına uygulanan Evlilikte Uyum Ölçeği ön-test ve son-test puan ortalamaları arasında bir fark olup olmadığını belirlemek için kovaryans analizi kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel analizler sonunda evlilik ilişkisini geliştirme grubuna katılmanın evli bireylerin evlilik uyum düzeyleri üzerinde anlamlı farklılıklar oluşturduğu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca deney ve kontrol grubundaki çiftlerin evlilik uyumlarına ilişkin Ön-test ve son-test sonuçlarının cinsiyete göre değişme göstermediği bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular literatür ışığında yorumlanmış ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

11 ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to study the effects of 'The Marriage Enrichment Program' on the marital adjustment of spouses. The pilot and control groups of this research consist of 28 spouses. Marital Adjustment Test was used to determine the spouses' marital adjustment levels. The pretest and posttests were given to the pilot and control groups. The sessions lasted about 2 and a half hours during 10 weeks. Co variance analysis was used to determine whether there was any difference between the pretest and posttest results of Marital Adjustment Test. Significant differences were detected on the marital adjustment levels through the Marriage Enrichment Program. Moreover, there were not any significant differences between the results of pretest and posttest of Marital Adjustment Test in terms of gender. The findings have been discussed in the light of literature, and some suggestions have been made.
