Publication: Sağlıkta Şiddet: Kitlelerin Duygu, Tutum ve Davranışları
Abstract
Amaç: Araştırmanın amacı; Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi'ne müracaat eden hasta ve hasta yakınları ile Samsun İlinde yaşayan sağlıklı bireylerin demografik özelliklere göre şiddete eğilim düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırmada 01/02/2020-01/07/2020 tarihleri arasında, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi'ne müracaat eden 284 hasta ve hasta yakını (deney grubu) ile Samsun İlinde bulunan 284 sağlıklı bireye (kontrol grubu) anket uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Anket uygulanan hastanedeki erkek katılımcılar ile Samsun İlindeki erkek katılımcılar arasında ve hastanedeki kadın katılımcılar ile erkek katılımcılar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Hastanedeki 25-35 yaş arası katılımcılar ile Samsun ilindeki 25-35 yaş arası katılımcılar arasında (p<0,05) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Hastanedeki evli katılımcılar ile Samsun İlindeki evli katılımcılar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0,01). Sonuç: Araştırmaya katılan hastanedeki erkek katılımcılar Samsun ilindeki erkek katılımcılara göre, yine hastanedeki erkek katılımcılar hastanedeki kadın katılımcılara göre şiddet eğilim düzeyleri yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Aim: The aim of the research; is the investigation of the violence tendency levels of the patients and their relatives who applied to Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Application and Research Center and the healthy individuals living in Samsun according to their demographic characteristics. Materials and Methods: The survey was implemented to 284 patients and their relatives (experimental group) who applied to Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Application and Research Center, and 284 healthy individuals (control group) between 01/02/2020-01/07/2020 in Samsun. Findings: A statistically significant difference was found between male participants in the hospital where the survey was implemented and male participants and between female and male participants in the hospital in Samsun (p<0.05). A statistically significant difference was found between the 25-35 years old participants in the hospital and the 25-35-year-old participants in Samsun (p<0.05). A statistically significant difference was found between the married participants in the hospital and those in Samsun (p<0.01). Results: It was determined that male participants in the hospital participating in the study had higher levels of violent tendency compared to male participants in Samsun, and male participants in the hospital compared to female participants in the hospital.
