III SAMSUN EKOLOJİK ŞARTLARINDA KİVİLERİN SÜRGÜN GÖZ AŞILARIYLA ÇOĞALTILMALARI ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA ÖZET Samsun ekolojik şartlarında kivilerde en uygun aşılama zamanı ve aşı metodunun saptanmasını amaçlayan bu çalışma, 1996-1998 yıllarında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümünde yapılmıştır. Çalışmada anaç olarak çöğür anaçları, aşı kalemi olarak Hayward ve Matua ; aşı yöntemi olarak T göz ve yongalı göz aşıları kullanılmıştır. Aşılamalar 1996 yılında 15 Nisan, 5 Mayıs, 25 Mayıs tarihlerinde; 1997 yılında ise 1 Mayıs, 15 Mayıs, 30 Mayıs ve 15 Haziran tarihlerinde yapılmıştır. Aşılamadan sonra aşı tutma ve aşı sürme oranları ile sürgün gelişimleri belirlenmiştir. Denemede elde edilen sonuçlara göre aşı tutma ve sürme bakımından aşı zamanlarının hepsinde başarılı sonuçlar alınmıştır. Bununla birlikte sürgün boyu ve çap gelişimi yönünden 1 Mayıs ile 15 Mayıs dönemlerinde yapılan aşılar daha iyi gelişme göstermişlerdir. Aşı tutma ve sürme oranının yüksek olması aynı zamanda sürgün gelişiminin daha iyi olması nedeniyle yongalı göz aşısı T göz aşısına göre daha başarılı bulunmuştur. IV ABSTRACT This study was carried out in the experimental area of Horticultural Department of Faculty of Agriculture, Universty of 19 Mayıs during 1996-1998. The objective of this study was to determine the most suitable grafting time and grafting method for kiwi fruit. In this study.Hayward and Matua scions were used as grafting scions and seedlings were used as stocks. On the other hand, T and chip buddings were used as grafting methods. The graftings were done on 15 th of April, 5 th of May and 25 th of May in 1996; 1 st of May, 15 th of May, 30th of May and 15 th of June in 1997. Bud take and bud sprouting ratios and the growth of shoots were determined after grafting. According to the results of this trial, all grafting periods gave succesful results in respect to graft taking and graft sprouting. However, the graftings done 1st of May and 15 th of May designoted better growing than the other terms in respect of shoot length and the growth of diameter. It was also found that chip budding was more succesfull than T budding, for it's better graft taking and the high grafth sprouting ratios as well as better growth of shoot.
