dc.description.abstractIndoor temperatures especially in hot climate regions, can reach very high values in closed agricultural areas such as in greenhouses and in poultry houses in summer. This causes heat stress for animals and plants. Higher indoor temperatures can also be fatal. Thus, cooling is indispensable in those closed production structures. A smart and practical solution can be fan-pad evaporative cooling system. In this study, a farm scale fan-pad evaporative cooling system has been designed and constructed and evaporative cooling efficiency has been investigated.en_US
