Milli Edebiyat Dönemi Romanlarında Çocuklar

Abstract

İnsan hayatı anne karnında yaratılmasıyla başlar ve ölümle sona erer. İnsan hayatının her evresi, insanın hayata, dünyaya ve nesnelere bakışı, bunları algılayışı, en eski zamanlardan beri sanat eserlerine konu olmuştur. İnsan hayatının önemli bir devresi de çocukluk yıllarıdır. Çocukluk yılları, sanatın her dalında, özellikle de edebiyatta önemli konulardan biridir. Romanlar ve hikâyeler; insanı her yönüyle, her bakımdan ele alan eserlerdir. Bu çalışmada, Türk edebiyatının önemli bir devresi olan Millî Edebiyat Dönemi yıllarında yayımlanan romanlarda çocuğun durumu incelendi, çocuğun aile içindeki ve sosyal çevre içindeki konumu tespit edildi, çocuk eğitiminin romanlara yansıyan yönleri ortaya çıkarıldı. Yazarların çocuğa bakışı, çocuğu eserlerinde nasıl yansıttıkları ele alındı. Dönem romanlarının bu konudaki yaklaşımları tespit edildi.

Human life begins with creation in mother?s womb, and ends with death. Each stage of human life, human?s viewpoint towards life, the world and objects around, and their perception of these have been topic for works of art for a long time. Another important stage of human life is childhood. Childhood is one of the important topics in every branch of art, especially in literature. Novels and short stories are such works that deal with human with every aspect. In this study, the situation of children in the novels published in the years of National Literature Period, which is an important period in Turkish literature, is examined, and the position of a child in a family and in society is determined, and the aspect of child education reflected to the novels is also found out. Besides, the authors? views about children and the way they reflect children in their works are dealt with. Finally, the approaches of the novels in that period about the topic are determined.
