Abstract
The puckering characteristics of C<inf>17H</inf>20<inf>CIN</inf>3 <inf>O3</inf>S<inf>2</inf>, the hexahydropyrimidine ring was described. It was found that the four C-N bond distances in the hexahydropurimidine ring shows wide variation and distances were found to be longer than the mean value of 1.333 Å for pyrimidines. It was observed that the largest deviation from the best plane were -0.256 (2) Å for C5 and 0.266 (2) Å for C6. It was also found that the pyrimidine derivatives show potential bacteriostatic, fungicidal and antiviral activities.
