Low back pain (LBP), rather than being a disease, is actually a symptom. LBP is defined as pain occurring in the regions between the gluteal cleft and the lower edge of the ribs. LBP has the highest prevalence among musculoskeletal disorders worldwide and is the leading cause of disability globally. Taking a detailed history from patients and performing a physical examination is still superior to any imaging methods and/or laboratory tests to explain the causes of symptoms. In this context, we will discuss the findings of the physical examination related to spinal diseases causing back and leg pain, which are common reasons for low back pain. © 2025 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
