4-(8-Quinolinoxy)­phthalo­nitrile

Abstract

The title compound, C<inf>17</inf>H<inf>9</inf>N<inf>3</inf>O, cyrstallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. Both independent molecules have essentially the same geometry. The angles between the planes of the quinoline group and the phenyl ring of the phthalonitrile group in the two molecules are 84.36 (4) and 83.69 (4)°. © 2003 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
