Kolorektal Karsinomlarda E-kaderin ve Ki-67 Ekspresyonunun Evre, Hastolojik Tip ve Derece İle İlişkisi

Abstract

ÖZET Amaç: Kolorektal müsinöz ve adenokarsinomlarda E-kaderin ve Ki-67 ekspresyonu ile tümörlerin diferansiyasyon, histolojik alt tip ve evreleri arasındaki ilişkiyi değerlendirmek. Gereç ve yöntem: Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalında 1998-2002 yılları arasında kolorektal karsinom tanısı almış 102 adet kolorektal rezeksiyon materyaline ait kesitler retrospektif olarak incelendi. E- kaderin ve p53 ifadesini saptamak amacıyla immünohistokimyasal çalışma yapıldı. Bulgular: 102 kolorektal karsinom olgusunun 89'unda (%88) E-kaderin ekspresyonu saptandı. 23 olgu (+), 32 olgu (++), 34 olgu (+++) olarak değerlendirildi. Ki-67 ekspresyonu 86 olguda (%85) gözlendi ve ortalama değeri %16.7 olarak bulundu. Sonuçlar: E-kaderin ve Ki-67 ekspresyonu ile tümör diferansiyasyonu arasında ilişki bulunmuştur. ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate E-cadherin and Ki-67 expression in the colorectal mucinous and adenocarcinomas and their relationship with differentiation, histological subtype and stage. Materials and Methods: In this study, tissue slides from 102 colorectal resection specimens prepared between 1998-2002 in the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Ondokuz Mayis University were retrospectively reeveluated. E-cadherin and Ki-67 expression was demonstrated immunohistochemically. Findings: E-cadherin expression was seen in 89 of 102 (%88) colorectal carcinoma. 23 cases were (+), 32 cases were (++) and 34 cases were (+++). Ki-67 expression was seen in 86 cases (%85) and with a mean value of %16.7. Results: It was found that there is a relationship between E-cadherin and Ki-67 expression and tumor differentiation.
