Piyano Eğitiminde Bilişsel Gelişimi Destekleyici Öğretim Programının Geliştirilmesi ve Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; piyano eğitiminin önemli bir boyutunu oluşturan bilişsel alandaki eksikliği gidermeye yönelik kültürel ve kuramsal konuları içeren destekleyici bir öğretim programı geliştirmek ve alanda kullanılabilirliğini test etmektir. Araştırmada betimsel tarama ve deneme modelinin birlikte kullanıldığı karma model benimsenmiştir. Araştırmada ilk olarak ihtiyaç analizi yapılmış; sonrasında alan yazın taraması ve uzman görüşlerine dayanan, dönemlik ders programı hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 'piyano bilgi testi', tek gruplu (kontrol grupsuz) öntest-sontest modeline uygun olarak Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı lisans programında öğrenim gören 21 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Testin geçerlik çalışmasında Lawshe tekniğinden yararlanılmış, güvenirlik analizi için 154 öğrenciye ön uygulama yapılmıştır. Ön uygulama sonucunda testin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı 0,860 olarak elde edilmiştir. Bilişsel gelişimi destekleyici öğretim programının deneysel uygulaması; çalışma grubunun bilişsel donanımını artırmış, piyano ders başarıları üzerinde olumlu etki göstermiş ve katılımcıların klavyeli çalgı geleneğini daha yakından tanımaları sağlanmıştır. Öntest başarı puanı ortanca değeri 30 iken, sontestte bu değer 74 olarak elde edilmiştir. Aralarındaki fark istatistiksel olarak (p<0,001) anlamlıdır. Ders başarı puanlarına bakıldığında ise; deney öncesi piyano ders başarı notlarına ilişkin ortanca değerin 82 olduğu, uygulama sonrasında bu değerin 91'e yükseldiği görülmüştür. Çalışma grubunun tamamına yakınının (%95,2) bilişsel gelişimi destekleyici öğretim programının, mesleki gelişimlerine katkı sağladığı; %85,7'sinin ise, anabilim dalı lisans öğretim programına dâhil edilmesi gerektiği görüşünde oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of this research; The aim of the course is to develop a supportive curriculum that includes cultural and theoretical issues to overcome the deficiency in the cognitive field which is an important aspect of piano education and to test its usability in the field. In the research, mixed model was used in which descriptive scanning and experimental model were used together. Firstly, needs analysis was conducted in the research; Then, a semester course program based on literature review and expert opinions was prepared. The 'piano knowledge test geliştiril developed by the researcher was applied to 21 students studying at Gaziosmanpaşa University Department of Music Education in accordance with the pretest-posttest model with single group (without control group). Lawshe technique was used in the validity study of the test and pre-application was made to 154 students for reliability analysis. As a result of the preliminary application, the Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the test was obtained as 0.860. Experimental application of the curriculum to support cognitive development; It increased the cognitive hardware of the study group, had a positive effect on the piano lesson achievements, and the participants were given a better understanding of the keyboard instrument tradition. While the median value of pre-test achievement score was 30, this value was obtained as 74 in the post-test. The difference was statistically significant (p <0.001). When the course success points are examined; The median value of the piano course achievement grades before the experiment was 82 and this value increased to 91 after the application. Nearly all of the study group (95.2%) stated that the curriculum supporting cognitive development contributed to their professional development; It is concluded that 85.7% of them think that the department should be included in the undergraduate curriculum.
