Toplumsal Değişme ve Dini Hayat: Vezirköprü Örneği

Abstract

Samsun ili Vezirköprü ilçesi ve çevre köylerinde sosyal yapının ve dini hayata dair davranış kalıplarının, dinin teorik, pratik ve sosyal yönlerine ilişkin bulgularla birlikte ortaya çıkarılmasına katkıda bulunmayı hedefleyen bu araştırma, giriş, üç bölüm ve genel değerlendirme-sonuç bölümlerinden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde, araştırmanın konusu, amacı, önemi ve yöntemi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde, araştırma alanı olan Samsun İli Vezirköprü ilçesinin genel özellikleri hakkında bilgiler yer almaktadır. İkinci bölümde, sosyal değişme kavramı, din kavramı, sosyal değişmeyi etkileyen faktörler ve sosyal değişme-din ilişkisi konusunda kuramsal bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, araştırma örnekleminden elde edilen bulguların ortaya konulması ve değerlendirilmesi yapılmış; bağımsız değişkenlere göre dağılımı ile ilgili olarak verilen betimsel bilgilerin ardından, araştırmaya katılanların yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, öğrenim durumu, meslek ve kişisel dindarlık algısı gibi olgusal niteliklerine göre dini yaşayışlarında ve soysal hayata yönelik tutumlarında ortaya çıkan farklılaşmaları incelenmiştir. Sonuç kısmında ise, araştırma evrenini oluşturan Vezirköprü'de, bölge insanının gerek dini hayat ve gerekse sosyal yaşama yönelik tutumlarında görülen farklılaşmaların ülkemizde farklı şekil ve niteliklerde devam eden kentlileşme ve sosyal değişme süreçlerinden etkilendiğini, ancak yapısal olarak farklı bir tip ve model oluşturacak şekilde bir başkalaşımın söz konusu olmadığını ve sosyal ve dini hayata yönelik tutumlar üzerinde geleneksel yapının büyük oranda belirleyiciliğini sürdürmesine rağmen, çeşitli etkenlere bağlı olarak değişme özellikleri sergilediği ifade edilmiştir. Anahtar Sözcükler: toplumsal değişme, dini hayat, vezirköprü, din sosyolojisiThis research intending to contribute to the revealing of the social structure and the behavioral patterns about religious life together with the findings about the theoretical, practical and social aspects of religion in Vezirköprü district and its surrounding villages of the province of Samsun in Turkey consists of the introduction, three parts and the general evaluation-conclusion parts. In the introduction part, information is given about the topic, intention, importance and method of the research is given. In the first part, there is information about the general features of Vezirköprü district of the province of Samsun, which is the area of the research. In the second part, theoretical information about the concept of social change, the concept of religion, factors affecting social change and the relationship between social change and religion are included. In the third part, findings obtained from the sample of the research are presented and evaluated and the differentiation of the people who joined the research in their ways of living the religion and their attitudes towards social life, according to their factual qualities such as age, sex, marital status, education, profession and personal perception of pousness are studied, after the descriptive information given about its dispersion according to independent variables. In the conclusion part, it is expressed that the differentiation seen in the attitudes of the regional people in Vezirköprü making the universe of the research towards religious and social life is affected by the urbanization and social change processes going on in our country in different ways and with different qualities, however there is not a transfiguration to form a structurally different type and model, and although the traditional structure sustains its decisiveness on the attitudes towards social and religious life, it presents features of change depending on various factors.
