Larva Endoparazitoiti Apanteles Galleriae (Wilkinson, 1932) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)'nin Verim ve Eşey Oranına Konak Türünün Etkisi

Abstract

IV LARVA ENDOPARAZİTOİTİ Apanteles galleriae (Wilkinson, 1932) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)' NİN VERİM VE EŞEY ORANINA KONAK TÜRÜNÜN ETKİSİ ÖZEI Bu çalışmada birinci evre soliter larva endoparazitoiti olan Apanteles gal- ter/ae (Wilkinson, 1932) (Hymenoptera : Braconidae)'nin verim ve eşey oranına iki değişik konak türünün etkisi incelenmiştir. Konak olarak büyük kovan güvesi Galle- ria mellonella (L) ve küçük kovan güvesi Achroia grisella (Fabr.) kullanılmıştır. Denemeler 25 ± 2°C sıcaklık, % 70 ± 5 nisbi nem, ve 12 L : 12 D fotope- riyot rejimi uygulanan laboratuar şartlarında yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre parazitoitin verim ve eşey oranına, ayrıca konağı tercihte, konak türünün etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Konak olarak G. mellonella kullanıldığında dişi parazitoit başına düşen oğul döl miktarı ortalama 21.73 ve bu oğul döldeki dişi oranı % 25.18 olduğu halde A. grisella da aynı değerler sırası ile 32.40 ve % 35.42 olmuştur.

THE EFFECTS OF TWO HOST SPECIES ON THE FECUNDITY AND SEX-RATIO OF LARVA ENDOPARASITOİD Apanteles galleriae (Wilkinson, 1932) (Hymenoptera : Braconidae). ABSTRACT In this study the effects of two host species on the fecundity and sex-ratio of Apanteles galleriae, (Wilkinson, 1932) (Hymenoptera : Braconidae) Which is the first instar soliter larva endoparasitoid, have been investigated. Galleria mellonella (L) and Achroia grisella (Fabr.) have been used as the host species. Experiments have been performed in the laboratories with a temperature of 25 ± 2 °C, a relative humidity of 70 ± 5 Under the photoperiod regime of 12 hours light and 12 hours dark. The results showed that the host species were effective on the fecundity, sex- ratio and the host acceptance of the parasitoid. When G. mellonella is used as a host the average Progeny production of the female is 25.18 and the female percen tage within this offspring is 21.73 percent. The data for A. grisella are 32.40 and 35.42 percent, respectively.
