The EPR spectra of Cu2+ and VO2+ ions in [NH<inf>4</inf>H<inf>3</inf>(C<inf>2</inf>O<inf>4</inf>)<inf>2</inf>]·2H<inf>2</inf>O single crystals were recorded at room temperature in three orthogonal planes. The spectra indicate that the Cu2+ and VO2+ ions substitute [formula omitted] ions. The principal values of the g and A tensors were determined. The ground state wave function of the Cu2+ ion in the lattice has been calculated and the covalancy and Fermi contact terms of the VO2+ ions were evaluated. © 2014, Verlag der Zeitschrift für Naturforschung.
