Sorumluluk Değeri Etkinliklerinin İlkokul 4. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Sorumluluk Kazanım Düzeylerine Etkisi

Abstract

The concept of value is defined as the abstract measure, which is used to ‎determine the importance of something, the value that something touches. The most ‎influential factors in the development of values are the individual's family and social ‎environment. The value of responsibility is one of the values that should be taught. ‎Because gaining other values to students is closely related to fulfillment of ‎responsibilities. Responsibility can be defined as the individual's awareness of the ‎duties he / she accepts or the duties assigned to him / her by his / her environment and ‎fulfilling the duties. In this context, the aim of this research is that to reveal the effect ‎of responsibility value activities on the responsibility value acquisition levels of ‎primary school 4th grade students. The research was designed as a pretest-posttest-‎permanence experiment-control group design among the experimental research ‎designs. The working group of the research consists of 4th grade students of ‎Cumhuriyet Primary School in 19 Mayıs District and Atakum Adnan Kahveci ‎Primary School, affiliated to Samsun Provincial Directorate of National Education in ‎the academic year of 2015-2016. 10-week activities were carried out with the ‎students in the research. Research data were collected using the 'responsibility value ‎scale' developed by the researcher. As a result of the research, there was a significant ‎difference between groups in the scores of the responsibility value scale in favor of ‎the experimental group post-test. Therefore, it was concluded that the responsibility ‎value activities applied contributed to the responsibility value acquisition levels of the ‎students. It was revealed that gender factor is not an important factor in the students' ‎responsibility value acquisition levels, and that the responsibility value gains of male ‎and female students are similar to each other. As a result, it was concluded in the ‎study that the students significantly achieved the objectives aimed within the scope ‎of the activity and the activities were successful in gaining responsibility value.‎

Değer kavramı, bir şeyin önemini belirlemeye yarayan soyut ölçü, bir şeyin ‎‎değdiği karşılık, kıymet olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Değerlerin gelişiminde en etkili ‎‎unsurlar, bireyin ailesi ve sosyal çevresidir. Sorumluluk değeri öğretilmesi gereken ‎‎değerlerin başında gelmektedir. Çünkü diğer değerlerin öğrencilere kazandırılması, ‎‎‎sorumlulukların yerine getirilmesiyle yakından ilişkilidir. Sorumluluk, bireyin içinde ‎‎bulunduğu duruma uygun olarak kendisinin kabullendiği ya da çevresi tarafından ‎‎kendisine yüklenen görevlerin bilincinde olması ve görevleri yerine getirmesi olarak ‎‎tanımlanabilir. Bu bağlamda araştırmada sorumluluk değeri etkinliklerinin ilkokul 4. ‎‎sınıf öğrencilerinin sorumluluk değeri kazanım düzeylerine etkisini ortaya çıkarılması ‎‎amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma deneysel araştırma desenlerinden ön test-son test-kalıcılık ‎‎deney-kontrol gruplu desen olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2015-‎‎‎2016 eğitim öğretim yılında Samsun İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı 19 Mayıs ‎‎İlçesi Cumhuriyet İlkokulu ve Atakum Adnan Kahveci İlkokulu 4. sınıf öğrencileri ‎‎oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada öğrencilerle 10 haftalık etkinlikler gerçekleştirilmiştir. ‎‎Araştırma verileri araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 'sorumluluk değeri ölçeği' ile ‎‎toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sorumluluk değeri ölçeği puanlarında gruplar ‎‎arasında deney grubu son test lehine anlamlı farklılık meydana gelmiştir. Dolayısıyla ‎‎uygulanan sorumluluk değeri etkinliklerinin, öğrencilerin sorumluluk değeri kazanım ‎‎düzeylerine katkı sağladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sorumluluk değeri ‎‎kazanım düzeylerinde cinsiyet faktörünün önemli bir faktör olmadığı, kız ve erkek ‎‎öğrencilerin sorumluluk değeri kazanımlarının birbirine benzer nitelikte olduğu ortaya ‎‎çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak araştırma kapsamındaki öğrencilerde etkinlik kapsamımda ‎‎amaçlanan kazanımlara önemli ölçüde ulaşıldığı ve etkinliklerin değer kazandırmada ‎‎başarılı olduğu ortaya çıkarılmıştır.‎
