Çıraklık Eğitim Merkezine Devam Eden Çırakların Benlik Algısını Etkileyen Faktörler

Abstract

I«+ ÖZET Bu araştırmada, 1996-1997 öğretim yılında Samsun İli Çıraklık Eğitim Merkezine devam eden Çırakların benlik algıları ile bulunduğu meslek grubu, sınıf düzeyi, yaş grubu, eğitim düzeyi, işyerinin çalışma şartlan, işdalı hakkındaki düşünceler gibi değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkeni olan benlik algısını ölçmek için, İnanç (1987) tarafından Türkçeye çevrilen Offer Öz-İmaj Envanteri (OSIQ), bağımsız değişkenlere ilişkin verilerin toplanması için 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi çeşitli mesleklerin 1. 2. 3. ve 4. sınıflarına devam eden çıraklardan random örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 225 kişiden oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın bulgularını test etmek amacıyla t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Manidarlık düzeyi.01 ve.05 olarak benimsenmiştir. Araştırmanın Sonuçlan: 1. Usta denetimi altındaki mesleklerde çalışan çırakların benlik algıları usta denetimi altında olmayanlara göre yüksektir. OSIQ'nin dokuz alt skalasından sadece, Dış Dünyaya Hakimiyet, Mesleki ve Eğitimsel amaçları alt ölçeklerinde anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. 2. Sınıf düzeyine göre çırakların benlik algıları OSIQ'nin dokuz alt ölçeğinde manidar bulunmuştur. Bütün alt ölçeklere de benlik algısı 3. sınıfların lehine yüksek çıkmıştır.115 3. Yaşı büyük olan çırakların benlik algıları yaşı küçük olanlara göre daha yüksektir. OSIQ'nin sadece üstün uyum alt skalasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. 4. Eğitim düzeyine göre çırakların benlik algıları OSIQ'nin Duygusal Durum, Dış Dünyaya Hakimiyet, Psikopatoloji, Üstün Uyum, Sosyal İlişkiler, Mesleki ve eğitimsel Amaçlan, Aile İlişkileri alt öçeklerinde anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Dürtü kontrol, Vücut ve Benlik İmajı alt ölçeklerinde anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. 5. Çırakların işyerinin çalışma şartları ile benlik algıları OSIQ'nin dokuz alt skalası arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. 6. Çırakların çalışmakta oldukları işin kendilerince uygun olup olmadığı hakkındaki düşünceleri ile benlik algıları OSIQ'nin dokuz alt skalası arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır.

SUMMARY In this research, The relationships between the self-images of apprentices, who were attending the training center of apprenticeship in Samsun during 1996-97 Educational years and the variables like the groups of profession in which the apprentices worked, levels of class, the ages of group, the level of education, the conditions of work in place of employment, the thought about the brach of employment were examined. Off er-Self-l mage Inventory, (OSIQ) which was translated into Turkish by İnanç (1987), was used in order to measure to the self-image which was dependent variable of the research and 'Personal Information form' was used in order to be collected for the datum relating to indepent variable. The models of the research were composed of 225 people selected by random method among the apprentices attending 1.2.3. and 4. classes of different preofessions. t-test and one-way variance analysis were used in order to make test (control) the discovery of research. The level of significiant was accepted as 0.1 and 0.5. The results of the research: 1. The self-images for the apprentices, who were working in the professions under the inspection of master, were higher than the apprentices were lack of inspection by master. A meaningful difference was not found117 merely at the bottom scales of coping-mastery of the external world, vocational and educational goals existed among the nine bottom scales of OSIQ. 2. The self-images of apprentices according to the level of class were found meaningfully in the nine bottom scales of OSIQ. The self-images of all the bottom scales were appeared highly in favor of the 3. class. 3. The self images of the old apprentices were higher than the young apprentices. A meaningful difference couldn't be found merely in the superior adjusment bottom scales of OSIQ. 4. The self- images of apprentices, according to the level of education, acqvired a different character meaningfully from the point of view the scales psychopathology, superior adjustment, social relationships, vocational and educational goals, family relationships, emotional tone, caping-mastery of the external world among the bottom scales of OSIQ A meaningful difference in the bottom scales of Body and self image, impulse control wasn't found. 5. Meaningfull differences, between the conditions of job in the working place and self-images of apprentices among the nine bottom scales of OSIQ weren't found. 6. Meaningfull differences, between the self-images of apprentices and the thought of the job, which the apprentices have been still working, were suitable or not among the nine bottom scales of OSIQ weren't found.
