Kardinal Ratzinger'den Papa Xvı. Benediktus'a Papalığın Diyalog Politikası

Abstract

Bu çalışma 2005- 2013 yılları arasında papalık görevi yapmış olan Papa XVI. Benediktus?un Kardinal Ratzinger olduğu dönemle papa olduğu dönem arasındaki genelde dinlerarası diyalog özelde ise İslam?a yönelik diyalog politikalarını ele almakta ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde özetle Papa XVI. Benediktus?un biyografisini Kardinal Ratzinger olduğu dönem ve Papa olduktan sonraki dönem şeklinde ikiye ayırarak hem akademik çalışmaları hem de teolojik söylem, demeç ve röportajları dikkate alarak aktarmaya çalıştık. alışmamızın ikinci bölümünde ise Papa XVI. Benediktus?un ekümenizm anlayışı, selefi II. John Paul dönemine kıyasla eleştiri ve kısa bir karşılaştırması ve nihayetinde dinlerarası diyalog söylemleri ve politikalarını tartıştık. Bunu yaparken de tıpkı birinci bölümde olduğu gibi kardinal olduğu dönemle papa olduğu dönemleri birbirinden ayrı olarak müzakere ettik. Değerlendirme ve sonuç bölümünde ise bilhassa kardinal olduğu dönemde sahip olduğu katı, radikal ve dogmatik tutumunun papa olmasıyla birlikte gelişen yeni siyaset ve stratejisini ve geçirdiği değişimini tespit ettik. This study deals with the policy of interfaith dialogue of Pope Benedict XVI towards other religions in general and Islam in particular from his term of Cardinal who responsible the Vatican Comission of Faith and Doctrine and the the term of being Pope. It composes of two sections. In the first chapter we try to introduce both Cardinal Ratzinger and Pope Benedict XVI under the seperate titles. While doing this we discussed his both academic works and theological discourses together in the light of his interviews, statements and speeches. In the second chapter we studied Pope Benedict XVI?s understanding of Ecumenism; a short comparison and critisizm of the era of his predecessor Pope John Paul II and finally we discussed in detail his discourses and expedients concerning interfaith dialogue. By doing so we deliberately distinguished the periods when he was cardinal and when he was pope just as we did in the first chapter. In the general evaluation and conclusion of our thesis we maintained that his radical, hard and dogmatic attitudes in the time of when he served as perfect of congregation for the doctrine of the faith gradualy began change and soften in the course of time.
