The phloroglucinol derivative hyperforin, the naphthodianthrones hypericin and pseudohypericin, the phenylpropane chlorogenic acid, and the flavonoids rutin, hyperoside, apigenin-7-O-glucoside, kaempferol, quercitrin, quercetin and amentoflavone were investigated in Hypericum confertum growing wild in Turkey. After drying at room temperature, the plant materials were assayed for secondary metabolite concentrations by HPLC. All the listed compounds were detected at various levels. This is the first report on the chemistry of H. confertum.en_US
