Communication with Relatives of the Patients in Emergency Department

Abstract

One of the most important components of the emergency department services is the communication between health prpviders and patients' relatives or companions. Considering needs and expectations of patients' relatives and companions as a service necessity would contribute to solving the communication problem. In the present review, the factors affecting the communication between relatives and companions of patients and health providers in emergency departments were discussed.
