Ordu İl Merkezi Katı Atıklarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

ÖZET Katı atıklar, Türkiye'nin birçok yerleşim biriminde olduğu gibi, Ordu il merkezinin de en önemli çevre sorunlarından biridir. il merkezinden toplanan katı atıkların toplanması ve taşınması her ne kadar iyi organize edilmiş olsa da, atıkların bertaraftı için aynı şeyi söylemek mümkün değildir. Katı atıklar Melet ırmağının deniz kenarına kontrolsüz olarak gelişigüzel bir şekilde bırakılmakta, adeta denize dökülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Ordu il merkezinden kaynaklanan katı atıkların özellikleri ve mevcut katı atık depolama alanının çevresel etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla il merkezinden toplanan katı atıkların miktar, kompozisyon ve nem içeriği belirlenmiş ve optimum bertaraf modeli araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak Ordu il merkezi kentsel katı atıkları için en ekonomik ve uygulanabilir yöntem olması nedeni ile düzenli depolama önerilmiştir.

ABSTRACT Solid wasted are the most important environmental problem in the city center of Ordu as in many settlements units of Turkey. Although the collection and the transportation of the solid wastes originated from the city center of Ordu have been managed in a good way, the solid wastes are dumped to the seaside of Melet river and also into the Black Sea without any treatment or operation. In this study, the properties of the solid wastes originated from the city center of Ordu and enviromental effects of the present solid waste damping area were examined. The composition, amount and moisture content of the solid wastes collected from the city center were determined and optimum disposal model was investigated. As a result, according to the amount, composition and the other characteristic of the solid wastes originated from the city center of Ordu, the economic and applicable model has been found as sanitary landfilling.
