The Use of Diced Cartilage as a Testicular Replacement in Rabbits

Abstract

Silicone prostheses have primarily been used for cosmesis after orchiectomy, but complications have been reported. In this experimental study, diced cartilage graft has been used for testicular replacement in rabbits. Although later reduction of the volume was seen in the MRI studies, diced cartilage grafts can be used for testicular prostheses but overcorrection of the volume seems to be desirable.
