Abstract
The title compound, C<inf>8</inf>H<inf>13</inf>N<inf>2</inf>O +·H<inf>2</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>-, is an ionic salt. The organic species is protonated at the N atom of the dimethylaminomethyl group. The dihydrogenphosphate moieties are connected into infinite chains by way of O-H⋯O links. The H<inf>2</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>- group also makes an O-H⋯N hydrogen bond to the pyridine N atom of the organic species. The organic cations crosslink the phosphate chains into a three-dimensional net work by way of strong N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O interactions. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography.
