The effects of the temperature (18, 25 and 32°C) and time after parasitization (1, 5 and 8 days) on total protein, lipid and carbohydrate contents in hemolymph of flour moth Ephestia kuehniella Zeller 1879 (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) larvae parasitized by Venturia canescens (Gravenhorst 1829) (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) were investigated. Colorimetric techniques were used to determine total protein, lipid and carbohydrate concentrations. Experiments were carried out under the constantly illuminated laboratory at three different temperatures (18, 25 and 32°C) and 65±5% relative humidity conditions. It was established that depending on time after parasitization total hemolymph protein concentrations in the parasitized host larvae were increased but total carbohydrate and lipid concentrations were decreased with regard to control group. In the parasitized host larvae, hemolymph protein and carbohydrate concentrations were increased but lipid concentrations were not changed depend on temperatures.en_US
